How does Profhilo work?

Profhilo actually improves the quality of the skin tissue. Primarily, it doesn’t increase volume – like the volume-boosting hyaluronic acids injected into the face – but hydrates and refreshes the skin’s texture. It also has a firming and lifting effect, resulting in immediate, noticeable improvement, especially in the neck and hands. It exerts its moisturizing effect deep in the dermis, which reduces wrinkles and thus makes the skin smoother.

The course of treatment

During the treatment, the doctor injects 2 ml of Profhilot into specific points in the problem area where the skin is thinnest, most sagging and most wrinkled. As on the face, on both sides of the neck, the puncture is usually done at 5-5 points, in the case of décolletage at 10 points, while in the case of the palms, it is finally inserted under the skin with a blunt tipped cannula. The substance, like honey, is evenly distributed under the skin in a few hours, and the puncture sites quickly disappear. Profhilo spreads out at the treatment site, binds water and begins the regenerative process, resulting in fuller, firmer skin after 8 weeks.
