Wrinkle Filling

Everyone wants to look good and make them feel better. However, when you look in the mirror and see the wrinkles on your face, deep pits, and magpies around your eyes that no doubt indicate the passage of time, you may no longer be happy with what you see. However, by eliminating these tiny imperfections, there is a lot that can be done to improve the look, making anyone feel younger and more beautiful, thereby significantly improving their self-confidence as well. At the New Beauty Medical Aesthetics Center, we perform anti-wrinkle and anti-wrinkle treatments that help eliminate the signs of aging, preserve and restore a youthful appearance while maintaining a natural effect.

What are the most common wrinkle types?

In an article published in the International Journal of Cosmetic Science, researchers at the University Hospital of Liege, Belgium identify four distinct types of wrinkles that are likely to be discovered by a dear reader on their own face.

  • Atrophic wrinkles – fine wrinkles that are mostly parallel to each other. They can occur in different parts of the body and disappear when the skin is stretched transversely (mostly when the position of the body is changed). These wrinkles can be linked to a loss of skin elasticity, suggesting a lack of collagen. Regular use of sunscreens will help prevent them from forming, but if they are already formed, skin that swells temporarily with moisturizers can reduce the appearance of these fine wrinkles.
  • Permanent elastic wrinkles – mainly in areas exposed to the sun, these permanent wrinkles appear in increasing numbers and become more visible over time. It most commonly occurs on the back of the upper lip, cheeks, and neck. As they become more and more striking, they are the most disturbing wrinkles. Protecting areas of skin exposed to the sun and quitting smoking are important for prevention. Hyaluronic acid fillers are used to eliminate wrinkles.
  • Dynamic facial expressions wrinkles – these are also often called laughing wrinkles or magpies, which usually develop as a result of an emotional facial expression. Over time, more and more of them will become more and more prominent. With regular use of sunglasses and moisturizers, you can significantly reduce the formation of wrinkles and keep your skin healthier. These are the wrinkles that respond best to Botox treatment.
  • Gravitational sagging – over time, the amount of firming collagen in our skin and the elasticity of the skin decreases, and as a result of gravity, it sags due to its weight. Their occurrence is related to skin thickness. While one might think that due to its volume, there are more such wrinkles on thicker skin, nonetheless, for people with thinner faces, these wrinkles appear more markedly. On the one hand, biofiber contouring, which initiates the synthesis of subcutaneous collagen and thus increases skin tightness, can be used for their treatment, either alone or in combination with hyaluronic acid volume replacement or focused ultrasonic skin tightening. In more severe cases, sagging skin can be surgically lifted and tightened.

What are wrinkle fillers?

Wrinkle fillers are gel-like volume-forming preparations that, when injected into the skin, are able to replace and restore the volume of tissue that has decreased during the years that determine the shape of the face. In contrast to complex, complicated and expensive surgical procedures, the use of fillers makes it easier and cheaper to achieve a youthful appearance with virtually no healing time.

Application of fillers:

  • wrinkle filling, wrinkle removal
  • Bio Nutri Lift treatment
  • volume replacement, face lift
  • facial contouring
  • lip filling

Types of fillers:

There are several types of wrinkle fillers available today, including:

  • Collagen-based fillers
  • Hyaluronic acid fillers (eg Restyllane®, Juvederm®, Filorga Artfiller®)
  • Juvederm®, Filorga Artfiller®)
  • Calcium hydroxylapatite fillers (eg Radiesse®)
  • Poly-L-tejsav (pl. Sculptra®)
  • Combined fillers (eg Reversal®,Neauvia® Stimulate)

Fillers used by:

Hyaluronic acid fillers are most often used for wrinkle filling, volume replacement and lip augmentation. Hyaluronic acid is a 100% absorbable natural substance that is an essential component of human skin. It binds water in the skin, ensuring its hydration, tone, elasticity and softness. Over time, the amount decreases naturally, so wrinkles form, the skin thins and becomes drier.

If you want to restore fullness of the face by increasing collagen synthesis, use Sculptra® or Neauvia® Stimulate Wrinkle Filler in combination with hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxylapatite.

I want a wrinkle filling, wich material is best for me?

The selection of fillers is personalized, and during the consultation we will discuss which treatment is best for our patients. It mainly depends on what kind of result you want to achieve, but your current status is also decisive.

We regularly monitor international trends and always use the best quality products.

How does the wrinkle fill in?

Wrinkle filling is a relatively simple, safe procedure for a trained and experienced doctor. The first step is to disinfect the skin in and around the treated area. If necessary, an anesthetic cream is applied to the skin to relieve pain, or the skin is anesthetized by injection. These are not needed in most cases, as the treatment does not involve significant pain. The filler is then injected with a needle or cannula, which lasts only a few minutes. Once we have achieved the desired result, you can return to your normal daily activities.

Do i have to be about side effects?

Treatment is a safe procedure in the hands of a qualified doctor, however, there may be a small number of complications, most of which are temporary and resolve within a few days. Such as bleeding or swelling due to a puncture. More serious complications such as infection or tissue damage are very rare, but in this case a doctor should be consulted immediately for immediate help.

How long does the effect of wrinkle filling last?

The effect of the treatment result depends on the treated area and the material used. In the case of hyaluronic acid charging, it is usually 6-12 months, depending on whether a more superficial or deeper charge occurs.

What should i do after treatment?

There is nothing special to do, but we recommend avoiding intense, strenuous exercise for a week or two after treatment. Because of the punctures, proper skin care is important to avoid infection, as well as protection from sunlight to avoid possible blemishes.
